I am excited to have to this opportunity to move from third grade to fourth grade with the same group of students. In my past five years of teaching I have worked as a reading teacher for two years and a third grade teacher for three years, so fourth grade is new to me. I consider it a privilege to continue working with your child to help him or her master fourth grade concepts.

I am originially from Richmond, Virginia, but I travelled west to attend the University of Colorado. I graduated with a degree in Art History and Studio Arts. After moving back to Richmond I discovered that education was a better fit, so I attended the University of Richmond's Teacher Licensure program. I ventured west again to Kansas City, Missouri where I taught for four years at a charter school.

Last year was my first year teaching at Partick Henry. I am looking forward to a great  year filled with laughter, learning, and growth.
